Keeping in view the continuous modernization initiatives of Indian Railways to sustain a competitive and safe rail transportation system in the country, and in line with the objectives as laid down by the National Innovations Council (NIC) for Indian Industry, CII and RDSO had initiated a platform with exclusive focus on innovations in Indian Railways in 2014.
